Personally, I love Lucy's body type. She is a well balanced doe and when I see her just standing naturally out in the pen, I think "now that's a miniature dairy goat!". When she was appraised in 2019, the appraiser echoed my sentiment and said the same thing. Lucy is a long bodied, upstanding doe with nice sharpness and angulation through out. I love the length, levelness and width of her rump. She also has a very pleasing head an ear set. She has strong medial and overall good capacity and area of attachment although I do wish she had better teat placement and a bit smoother foreudder. Lucy is the result of a difficult kidding in which I thought for sure she wouldn't make it, but she did so despite her somewhat diva-esque attitude, she has a special place here.

Much like Lucy (above) I really like Black Liquorice's body type. She's not at smoothly blended in her front end as Lucy, but she shows the same length of body, level topline and rump and also similar angulation and sharpness through out. She would benefit from straighter toes in her front feet. Her mammary has beautiful texture (she milks completely down to nothing), respectable teat size, nice rear udder height, smooth foreudder and good capacity but personally, I'd like to see it fill her escoutcheon area a bit better and better teat placement.

Butterscotch is overall a decent doe with nice length of body and naturally upstanding appearance. She has a strong topline although I do wish she had a longer and more level rump. She is decently angular and sharp through out but could be more smoothly blended in the front. I feel her strongest feature is her udder, it's beautifully shaped with good overall attachments, medial and reasonable capacity for her size. She also has good teat placement although I wish they were bigger in size and also wish she had softer udder texture.

This girl is substantial and I actually admire her for that (although I will fully admit she's a bit overweight in this picture). She has a beautifully blended front end with nice brisket extension, wonderful length and depth of body and she's wide as a Mack truck through out. Overall I like her strength of topline, however I would like to see more length and levelness in her rump, as well as more angulation in her rear legs. Her udder would benefit from more capacity, but she has nice teat placement and decent overall attachments, though could use more rear udder height. (Sorry, no udder photos available.)
